Thanks to the Israeli gardening law, an abandoned private lot in Bat-Yam, a suburb of Tel Aviv, is temporarily open for public uses. On this former illegal dump site located between the industrial district and residential areas, our project consists in modelling three craters with earth excavated from surrounding construction sites. Their inner surfaces are covered with lawn in order to host a wide range of uses while wild vegetation is seeded on the external planes. By detaching the users from the surrounding environment, in a physical and acoustic experience, the new artificial horizons highlight Bat-Yam's current vertical development under the real estate pressure of Tel Aviv.
